Ground Protection Mat Hire

We offer a complete “ground protection mat hire service” using light weight heavy duty mats. These are suitable for tired or rubber tracked vehicles up to 30 tonnes in weight. Mats are flexible, rotproof  and are resistant to water absorbtion, with connector holes for a range of options as well as hand cut outs to enable easy handling. Grip/surface profiles are specially designed to aid non slip vehicle traction.

Ground protection mats are used widely in the landscaping, outdoor events and amenities markets as well as for sporting events & on construction projects. Anywhere pedestrian or vehicle access is required over soft ground conditions and/or the existing surface has to be protected, ground mats are are an ideal solution.

For light indvidual vehicle use mats can be butted together or laid with a small overlap. For multi vehicle use one or more of the connectors will be required.

Double sided mats have nubs on both sides to provide tire to mat and mat to ground traction. These are used for temporary road ways on soft surfaces with or without joiners depending on the usage and ground conditions.

Single sided mats have nubs one side and smooth finish the other. These can be used smooth side down over hard surfaces and on flat roofs or smooth side up as dirt boards.

Pedestrian mats have the standard nubs on one side and smaller, lower and more tightly spaced nubs on the other.

All models of mats are to the same strength and quality and are made from HD Polyethylene with a UV inhibitor so that they do not become brittle with age.
